About Me
Hi there. I am Patricia.
I have a passion for working with couples and families.
For most of my life, I have been able to recognize the relational nature of problems. I was often the one who helped friends or family members in conflict. I had a natural ability to see the bigger picture of the issue while also remaining neutral. Over time and with specialized education and training, I have been able to hone my skills and provide a therapeutic environment the fosters growth and relational healing.
Why choose to work with me?
Building a strong therapeutic relationship with you is one of my primary goals in therapy so that we can work comfortably towards your therapy goals. My process is one of collaboration with my client(s). I take a non-judgmental stance and work from a client-centered focus. Together, my clients and I work to enhance their relationships and move past “stuckness” and problem cycle patterns.
I have deep respect for clients because I know asking for help is not easy. Taking the first step in therapy is sometimes the hardest one. Therapy is not always easy, but with a competent and trusted therapist, it is always worth it.
I have experience working with families that include children as young as zero and up to adult age. I have experience working with families who have experienced trauma, intergenerational trauma, DCS involvement, addiction issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, autism, attachment issues, and more. I have worked with couples experiencing infidelity, intimacy struggles, divorce/discernment, conflict and communication issues, past trauma affecting the current relationship and other issues that affect couples.
